Centennial Badge:$35.00
This is a nicely made repro of the badge issued for the centennial (1990) of the Italian Submarine Service.
It is about an inch across. The current officer's badge is similar but half this size.

Restrike from original die by original Italian company that made them during WWII for the division of subs that sailed with the Germans out of France. This badge was basted onto the sleeve. Badge is 2 3/4" high.....BEAUTIFUL!!! Oh, and according to Steve Jones an original would cost you 400 bucks! By the way, the Italian company to which I am referring is one of the most highly revered jewelry companies in the world. You can see that reflected in the quality of these pins, which is even better than the scan shows.

Imperial Dolphins Repro: $100.00
I HAVE ONLY THREE OF THESE BADGES LEFT,
AND WHEN THEY ARE GONE THEY WILL BE GONE FOR GOOD.
Please...if you want one, don't wait.
These beautifully made reproductions of the Japanese WWII imperial dolphins were made on order of the Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force (i.e. their Navy) in 2001 for reasons unknown to Americans serving at the time with the U.S. Submarine Forces Staff at Yokosuka...obviously they were for special presentations of some kind. I am told it was a one shot deal only and that it won't happen again. Through one of my valued customers who was in Japan, I was able to obtain a limited supply of them at that time. They appear to be an absolutely superb reproduction of the originals, including making the submarine as a seperate piece. Although I do not know if they were made by the company that made them during WWII, that would be the logical place for them to be done if the company was still in business. For your info, I am told that an original of this pin sells for between $400 and $500 and that are rarely available for sale as they are considered family heirlooms of special honor. I am also told that, for that reason, during WWII they were never taken to sea for fear of being lost forever if the submarine were sunk.

Official "fleet issue" Dutch Dolphins: $22.00

FAT BOYS: $25.00
Managed to get some more of these "well rounded" Dutch dolphins
I like them better than the fleet issue ones because they are curvy

Boris says, "I like that well rounded quality in female bears too,
especially at hibernation time!"
